Nature Nurture Farmacy Alive & Thriving

~ a partnership project with the Nature Nurture Farmacy ~

Alive & Thriving has supported the Nature Nurture Farmacy's efforts to support Lewis County communities during this time of chaotic, physical and mental health crisis.  Nature Nurture's Farmacy builds a foundation of health for a stronger community through the use of herbal medicine, sustainable food cultivation, and empowering education.

FREE FOOD KITS

When COVID hit, Nature Nurture Farmacy teamed up with Food is Free Olympia to provide free food boxes to the community. We have provided 1000’s of pounds of food to the community since initiating this project in May.

SOIL DONATION

NNF facilitates the Winlock Community Garden. Through the support of the LFTR grant we were able to acquire and distribute a huge donation of organic fertilizer to the community and other gardens.

SEED LIBRARY INDEXER

We were able to purchase this seed sorter thanks to the LFTR grant and are offering a seed library located at NNF. These seeds will also support our fall and spring garden kits.

HEALTH CARE KITS

With our increased manpower hours from LFTR grant we were able to offer a free immune support kit to teachers, health care workers and folks fighting social justice. During these chaotic times, we need to be supporting each other.
