In a community of practice, members come together around learning needs for a shared concern or passion. Collective learning in a community of practice creates a bond among members over time (experienced in various ways and thus not a source of homogeneity).
Folk School Alliance Community of Practice meetings are sponsored by the Folk Education Association of America and occur every month on the 4th Tuesday with the exception of July and December, when no meetings are held.
